We have presented many film series and special events over the years that use the film medium to educate and stimulate dialogue while also bringing the community together. Whenever possible, we try to highlight the work of Vermont filmmakers. March 2012 sees the presentation of the 15th Green Mountain Film Festival, rated one of the TOP TEN WINTER EVENTS IN VERMONT and with more films and special events that ever. In 2011 we inaugurated two film -making competitions: the Margot George Short Film Competition and the Green Mountain 48-Hr Film Slam. Both of these events are envisaged as annual events designed to promote the film arts in Vermont. Focus on Film cannot exist without the overwhelming groundswell of support that we receive from individuals, businesses, foundations, volunteers, and local organizations. We thank each of you for making all this possible.
